The Infrastructure Council is a group of businesses and organizations working to carry out large-scale projects in Quebec, Canada and internationally.

The Council’s mission is to help launch, carry out and promote innovative and sustainable infrastructure projects. It acts as a centre of expertise, reflection and knowledge-sharing with an international reach.

Michel Binette appointed President and CEO of the Infrastructure Council
The board of directors of the Infrastructure Council, a non-profit organization that represents the interests of a group of infrastructure experts, is pleased to announce the immediate appointment of Mr. Michel Binette as President and CEO. He takes over from Ms. Sylvie Godin who has chosen to pursue a new career challenge.

Turcot Interchange

After five years and work estimated at $3.67 billion, the new Turcot Interchange was inaugurated in the fall of 2020.

Réseau Express Métropolitain (REM)

The REM is a major public transportation project under construction. This automated light rail network will include 26 stations and span the greater Montréal area over 67 km.

Inaugurated in July 2019, the new Champlain Bridge is one of the largest construction sites of the last 40 years in Quebec.
